Page Rank ( PR ) is Google's rating of the importance of your website in comparison with others on the web. Page Rank levels are from 0 through to 10 - with 10 being the best.

Achieving a PR 10, 9 or 8 is no easy feat, and when you look at the type of sites that can boast a PR 10, such as Google.com and Adobe.com, the chances of your own site ever achieving this status are quite slim. Even internet heavyweights such as Yahoo, Youtube and Apple are all sites with a PR 9.
